The Headland Rooms
Step straight out onto the grass and the cliff path. The closest to the water you can sleep.
Nine rooms, all facing the water.
There is no street side. The building turns its back on the lane and gives every room the sea, the weather, and the long drop of the cliff.
The rooms are plain on purpose. Limewashed walls, a good bed dressed in heavy linen, a window seat wide enough to sit in, and not much else asking for your attention.
No televisions. The phone signal comes and goes with the wind, which most guests decide they do not mind. What you get instead is the sound of the water and a great deal of sky.

The Light Rooms
Up under the eaves, with the widest windows and the longest view down the coast.

The Long Room
The one with two windows, a deep bath, and the first of the morning light from the east.
